Suggestion
While ridership is lower than pre-pandemic levels, SEPTA is the sixth largest transit system in the country and it has seen ridership growth by 5.3% over the past year. Given this, there needs to be an effort to support funding for SEPTA that is independent from the state government.

Suggestion
In addition to building more sidewalks there needs to be a plan (if there is not one already) to ensure that these sidewalks are maintained and built so that there is a buffer between walkers and traffic. This is needed especially when walking in the rain or snow. Adding trees, plants, benches (when needed) will also help with making sidewalks more pleasant to use.

A shared active transportation system needs to be established across Montco. It's more essential than ever given SEPTA's problems. Not only beneficial from a transportation standpoint, but also people's physical and mental health

Picking up on one of the other comments below, we need more than just ADUs. ADUs are an important tool, but alone, they are going to be insufficient to meet the scale of our housing crisis, for a variety of reasons. We need the full range of housing types.

May I suggest instead: "Build all types of housing for people of all backgrounds, incomes, ages, abilities, and needs."

If you would like to specify types, you can continue that sentence and specify ", including Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), missing middle housing, apartment buildings, and everything in between."
